WA council elections 2017
candidate survey results

This page contains WA council candidate survey results for the 2017 WA council elections. The final results for each of the 11 selected councils will be posted on 8 October 2017.

Surveys were emailed to candidates in councils below between 27-29 September and reminders emailed on 1-2 October. Individuals from local environment groups, including the Stirling Urban Tree Network, Bayswater Urban Tree Network, 350.org assisted with survey questions and encouraged candidates to respond to the survey.

The CEDAMIA Climate Emergency Declaration (CED) and CED Statement of Support were included to test candidate commitment to climate action. Whether the candidate signed either or both of these can be updated anytime until the election.

The council 1-pagers attached below show only the candidates that responded to the survey or signed a candidate-statement of support for the Climate Emergency Declaration.
